Produced in 100% cotton and cut to a regular fit, our Libertas Abolition SS Tee features a screenprinted graphic of the ‘Libertas’ Lady Liberty. In her left hand, she holds shackles, as originally intended by sculptor Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi to commemorate the end of slavery; a monument intentionally built to celebrate emancipation, relocated to her feet and obscured before completion following American funders’ rejection of Bartholdi’s vision.
